The funny thing is, the teacher had no idea we even knew each other.

You know you’re yuppie scum when you drink Starbucks while watching The Rocky Horror Picture Show and restyling your blog.

Yep, we’re egg-colouring people.
This year we did about two and a half dozen… solid colours, mixes, stripes, splotches, dots… one even turned out plaid-looking.

Egg-colouring is really the only reason I enjoy Easter.
I view all of the holidays similarly these days.
In particular for christian holidays, we have so manipulated them into reasons to drink or teach our children to worship fictional characters and eat candy that it’s increasingly difficult to remember the purpose of holidays.
Sure, every christian kid knows that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and subsequently rose from the grave.
But do we really know what that means?

I’ll be honest, I’m not a religious person.
But it’s days like these that remind me why I’m not.
